Second volume dedicated to Django Reinhardt . Django Reinhardt , a brilliant jazz guitarist, had the chance and the time, despite his accidents, his whimsical character and his short life, to make himself known and recognized by a wide audience as well as his peers.

The two CDs feature Django in two particular contexts. In the first CD, he plays amplified guitar in recordings made from 1946 to 1953 which clearly indicate the evolution of his language depending on the era and the instrument, from his meeting with Duke Ellington to his ultimate records in the company of young French musicians. In the second CD, Django is the undisputed soloist, solo, in duo, in trio or accompanied by large, almost symphonic formations. Two aspects of his astonishing talent.
