Completely self-taught, he left his mark on the history of music, with a style of astonishing technique (although deprived of two fingers on his left hand following an accident...): a sort of fusion between jazz and gypsy music .
In a fun format, this comic book accompanied by 2 CDs pays homage to him.
We find his world there, in a post-war New York magnificently illustrated by the press cartoonist Aurel , on a scenario by the collector and producer Christian Bonnet .
The guitarist-composer is in the spotlight in CD1, and CD2 is devoted to his most diverse encounters .
